Also having a quick recall of times tables is very important so any opportunity for your child to practise times tables at home will be much appreciated. All children have a log-on for both Timetable Rockstars and Spelling Shed. There is an expectation that the children access these sites on a regular basis top develop their timetable knowledge and spelling skills.

The children should bring a reading book home every day. It is essential that your child reads frequently so we would be grateful if you could find 5 to 10 minutes each day to listen to them read.

We are fortunate enough to have access to Ackworth Library Services who come into school every other Thursday. Please ensure your child has their book in school on this day to bring back or have renewed.
