Remote Education Provision: Information for Parents
At Featherstone All Saints C of E Primary School, we take our role as educator extremely seriously. In the event of school closure, for any circumstances, we must ensure that we continue to provide the high quality education that our pupils and families deserve.
Where a class, group or small number of pupils need to self-isolate, or there is a local lockdown requiring pupils to remain at home, we have the capacity to offer immediate remote education.
Remote Learning Platforms
ClassDojo
This is the main way to communicate with your child’s class teacher. Each parent has their own login to ClassDojo. Work is posted daily and parents are able to communicate with parents and carers through ClassDojo Children are asked to take photographs of work completed and then send it back to the teacher via ClassDojo. Teachers will give feedback via ClassDojo.
Zoom
This is used as our platform for live meetings / input with the teacher. Teachers will have regular Zoom meeting with pupils to go through work that has been set, clarify misconceptions and check in with children. Links to Zoom meetings will be found on.
